Planning Permission

Planning Permission was granted on the 11th October 2018 for the erection of six apartments with associated car parking (Application No. 07/2018/482/FUL.

In response to a Request for Pre-Application Advice (Application No. PREAPP/18/0238) the Planning Officer indicated a scheme to build 4 town houses in a 3-storey block (replacing the six apartments) is acceptable in principle and that an Application for Planning Permission would be supported.

An Application would be subject to various supporting documentation all of which has already been provided for the Application for six apartments.

Reference was made to the site being a former car breaker’s yard which the existing houses now occupy, but this site was an additional area of the yard which was never used for such activities and therefore unlikely to have suffered any contamination.

Japanese Knotweed was found and a knotweed eradication report was submitted and eradication programme implemented. The cost to complete the treatment programme has been met.
